

Saudi Arabian HRC import prices increased to $595-610 per tonne CFR due to persistent Red Sea shipping constraints. Chinese 1.2-mm material was offered at around $610 per tonne, approximately $10 higher week on week, but buyers resisted because domestic downstream margins were negative. Container shipping costs of $8,000-10,000 reportedly pushed potential landed prices toward $800-900 per tonne. Consequently, commercial bookings remained extremely limited.
