Rapid US data-center development is creating additional demand for aluminium, copper, steel, graphite, gallium and indium. Modern liquid-cooled facilities may require 20-40 tonnes of copper per megawatt, while aluminium demand is growing across power distribution, cooling and cable-management systems. Data centers are also tightening US HRC and galvanized-steel availability. Global data-center capacity is forecast to more than double from 97 GW in 2025 to 200 GW by 2030.
