wp-block-paragraph\">Chinese billet exports fell 9% month on month to 1.31 million tonnes in September.<br>Lower prices in destination markets reduced export margins and mills\u2019 willingness to sell overseas.<br>Slab exports dropped nearly 41% month on month to 258,980 tonnes.<br>Italy\u2019s purchases fell sharply, accounting for more than 80% of the overall monthly slab-export decline.<br>Indonesia became the largest slab destination, while Southeast Asia regained a dominant share of shipments.<br>Despite the monthly slowdown, January\u2013September slab exports remained
