Egyptian rebar consumption reached 863,600 tonnes in September, rising 50.37% month on month.
Consumption was also 22.01% higher than in September 2025.
Production increased 28.25% from August to 789,200 tonnes, but remained 3.88% lower year on year.

Sources linked the recovery to resumed construction and possible retailer restocking ahead of higher prices.
